Willie Taylor & Co. carries goods made by hand, from natural materials, by craftspeople who have been at it long enough that it shows. A store is only as good as what it carries and who stands behind it. We pull inspiration from the hills and hollers of Appalachia and from far beyond. Every detail kept, because the garment grows with the wearer. You age it with every wrinkle, stain, and stack.
We run under the ethos, not perfect, but damn close.
Willie and his wife Minerva “Nervy" Jane.
The name belongs to Willie Taylor of Clarkrange, Tennessee. Farmer, mail carrier, trader of guns and knives. He ran a one-pump general store with his wife Minerva, who everyone called Nervy. When a customer came up short, he set out an old cigar box. Leave an IOU, settle up when you can.
